It’s A New Season

-Psalms 32:8 NKJV

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Towards the end of 2021, I sat before the Lord at various times concerning this new season to watch, listen and pray.  The first thing I heard Him saying was, “I am shining My light on the path for My people to take in this season. I am teaching you in the way you shall go, I am guiding you with My eyes.” He then reminded me of a vision I had. In this vision, there were people in a building. The building’s walls were thick concrete and I got a sense that it was a fortified place. On the left side of this building was one small, square window that was really high in the wall. I saw a man climbing up a ladder to get to the window. He handed the people a box through the window. It was a box filled with things they can use; maybe supplies of sorts. I got a sense that they were unsure as to whether to accept the box at first, but then accepted it anyway. The man did this two more times. However, the third time, the box was filled with explosives. I got a sense that God was highlighting, that because they let their guard down and trusted what appeared to be good, they fell prey to the enemy’s agenda. The Bible tells us that the thief does not come except to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). I sensed the Spirit of God warning His people in this season; “Watch out for those who come in the disguise of doing good, eventually there will be a switch and what appears good, will come at a price. Do not give them access to the fortified place that I have set you in.” God highlighted Proverbs 21:22, which says “The wise conquer the city of the strong and level the fortress in which they trust.” He began highlighting wisdom and that rather than be conquered, with divine wisdom and a keen sense of discernment, His people will conquer in this season.

Sometime later, as I pondered this vision, God reminded me of the words of Jesus in John 10:1, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up from some other place [on the stone wall], that one is a thief and a robber.” (AMP) I believe that we are in an era, where we have to be discerning of those who will enter in by another way. We know there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus. However, we are in a season of heightened spiritual and supernatural activity, not just of the kingdom of God, but also of the kingdom of darkness. While there is one way to access God there are many ways to access the supernatural realm… in other words, enter in by another way. The occult and new age practices are examples of entering in another way. These are no longer things practiced in secret. It’s being publicized on social media, the entertainment industry and even finding its way into the church. The enemy is no longer in disguise. The things gaining traction and attention in this season under this “woke” generation , would have made previous generations blush. As a people in general, it seems like there is an adjustment  of our spiritual and moral compasses to accommodate and tolerate. But even further, the church is being the thermometer by reporting the change in the cultural temperature, rather than being the thermostat and setting the temperature or standard. But, God! It’s a new season!

“This is the year of My establishment. I will establish that which you have been faithful to begin with and in Me. So it shall be that as you declare what I show you, in speaking what heaven is speaking; what I am speaking in this hour, that it shall be accomplished. Decree it, declare it and move in it and shall be established. Throughout the nations, you will hear and see what I am building through My sons and daughters. You will not be able to trace how I established them, for it will be supernatural. It will be likened to rivers in the desert and a road in the wilderness. The more My people Israel were oppressed, the more they multiplied. So it shall be in this season; from the bands of oppression and resistance will evolve a new breed of glory carriers, established in My glory. Write the finished vision, My vision through you. No longer will you see and not hear or hear and not see what is already established. Set the finished vision up high that all may see. As I move amongst My people, I am breaking them out of the shackles of religion that has kept them bound. I am breaking them out of the walls in this shaking. No longer will they run to a place in search of Me, for I am breaking them out that they may encounter Me in every place. Even now, I am drawing them closer to Me.  The Ones who will hearken to My call will stand firm in this shaking. They will not be moved. I am opening new ways that My people have the wealth needed in this season. Even now, when it looks like there is a casting down, I am lifting a people according to My riches to advance My agenda in the earth. I am  releasing strategies and blue prints ahead of time.”Prayer: Lord, help me to align all of me with your word, will and way in this new season. Instruct and teach me in the way I should go, guide me with Your eyes. In Jesus’ name, amen!
